1NT overcall ( 06:02:35 WedJan 22 2003 )

If your left hand opponent bids 1C and your partner overcalls 1NT. Right hand opponent no bids. Can you use the transfer bids that are used when your partner opens 1NT?

Certainly you can if you want to. You should make sure you and your partner know whether you do.

If you want to know whether this is the best way to play then I think you are asking on the wrong forum!

Try transferring to "Ask an Expert". They answer questions on what is best to play.
