Down Peterborough arrives. Many wet passengers join the already crowded train.
Train does not depart due to lack of relief driver arriving from Kings Cross.
Time passes...
More passengers push aboard. Train now totally wedged.
Time passes...
Fat Controller enters stage left and announces that the relief driver is stranded on the train behind this one but cannot get into the platform whilst this train is occupying it.
Audience laughs.
Time passes...
Driver finally arrives after walking up the track and train finally departs at about 17:00.
Audience cheers and rushes home to spread the word about the wonderful job WAGN are doing to restore passenger morale.
