Picture the scene - if you will,
As Cat steps on a windowsill,
A mouse, a mouse! What shall I do?
Can I deliver it straight to you?
Blackbird, sparrow, which shall I pick?
Oh dear oh dear, I must have a lick,
Of my silky black fur so fine,
Oh what shall I do, dear human mine?
Confusing thoughts going through my head,
Should I just go - to my bed?
Feather pillow or comfy chair,
On the window ledge because it's fair,
I will lie here thinking and wash my fur,
And all of that in just one purr.
