Kitty caught a mousy, it went squeak, squeak
It must have tried to bite her, because she dropped it
Kitty got scared and ran for home
The mouse ran the same way
Poor Kitty Bear, scared by a mouse
But it was so funny to see them running along together
Any way the mouse got away and Kitty came home
I guess her mommy never taught her to hunt
Oh well I could always be talked a treat
Whenever she wanted it
