Podly Bear, our big guy, always crawls in bed with us
Wants nothing more than a bowl of chow
Likes nothing better than a lap
O'll Podlys a good cat, too big to be a kitty
So funny to watch when he gets excited
Lashing his tail, his funny gallop
He came to us from G'ma Bev to be a friend for Kitty
Poor guy was lonely, by himself all day
He needed a new home
Now he gets lots of laps & lots of chow
He loves his back yard and learned to catch mice and moles
And has a kitty friend to play with
He and Kitty growl and hiss and lay back their ears
Then jump on each other and wrestle around
But it's all for fun, Kitty can escape any time
It usually ends with Kitty being chased, but sometimes Podly
Marmalade just sits and watches
I wonder what she thinks of it all!
