Bonnie & Clyde - Suckers

My friend, Helen, came to see the kitties today. They were stretched out on the bed, sucking!!! Bonnie sucked her own tum and Clyde joined in. Helen couldn't stop laughing. "Do they always do that?" she said.

"Yep," I said. "They always suck Bonnie. Her tum gets wet from end to end."

When Helen was leaving, the kittens were playing. "Would you like to have a final performance?" I asked.

Helen had been cuddling kittens all afternoon. "Oh yes," she said.

I grabbed up the kitties, put them together and rolled them forward down the hallway. They loved it, and thundered off down the hall chasing each other to the bedroom. Helen started laughing again. "I love 'em," she said, "can I have 'em".

"You nearly did," I observed, "They were both asleep in your purse earlier!"

Later in the evening I looked for the kitties. It was cooler and they had gone to sleep in their kitty cube. I put my ear against the cube - "slurp, slurp, suck suck suck, purrr purrrrrr." They were sucking again.
