These animals crack me up. Just now Patty was drawing a tub full of water to shave her legs when Traveller jumped up on the edge of the tub to get a drink. The level was still pretty low, and he was having to strain to reach it. Then Maccabee came up from behind and cold-nosed him right in the old round brown.
Man, that cat was mad! And wet. He instantly jumped back in horror and ran into the shower door and fell back in again, then scrambled madly up the sloping end and kept sliding back in. He got himself a lot wetter than he would have ever gotten if he'd just calmly strolled out and whipped the dog.
What made it even funnier were the sound effects. "MEEEEOOOWWWW!!"
Willoughby and Sasha came running to see what the ruckus was all about and got there just as a sopping-wet Traveller leaped over the edge and right in their faces. I guess they thought he was mad at them or that they were next or something, because they turned tail and scrambled madly on the slick tile floor to safety.
Mac rolled over and wet his knickers, tears rolling down his face as he howled for mercy.
Folks, there's never a dull moment around here.
